My Red Letter 2017 -E075 - Lili
Entry: 075Name: Lili
Age: 12
Champion: Mum & Sport
My Dyslexia champion would be my Mum and Sport.
All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my magnificent Mum.
My Mum stood right next to me when I was going through a tough time. She helped me anyway she could. My Mum researched and researched the meaning of DYSLEXIA and how she could help me, she sat at that computer almost every day just to help me fight through my DYSLEXIA. At my old school I was struggling but my confident Mum pushed that school to help me be the best I can be. I was stressing, crying but my Mum was always there right by my side and she fought for me anyway she could, that’s what I love about her. Where I am at now with my learning I owe it to my Mum for getting a fantastic Tutor moving me to a fantastic school and believing in me that I could do anything if I put my mind to it.
“Mum, you helped me so much, I will always love you as I will not get another Mum like you.”
My other Dyslexia Champion would also be sport, sport makes me feel free and I don’t think about anything else or anyone else. I love running, soccer, Little Athletics, football, basketball and cricket and when I play these sports and I don’t think about Dyslexia I think I CAN AND I WILL DO ANYTHING IF I PUT MY MIND TO IT. All these sports I have played involves running and that’s what I love to do out of all of them, when I run I feel no sadness no angriness just how well I’m going to do. “I DON’T RUN AWAY FROM CHALLENGES I RUN OVER THEM”. This means never give up and don’t run away, run for it as fast as you can.
“I RUN TO BE FIERCE AND THE BEST WAY TO SHED OFF NEGATIVE ENERGY IS TO RUN!!!”
