001. Christa's Red Letter
Entry ID: 001Name: Christa
Age: 17
Recipient: Student in Year 7
I am in year 12 and I wrote my letter to a boy in year seven, we share the same singing teacher, and she informed me he was dyslexic. I wrote my letter to empower him, he has the power to change the way people see dyslexia. Its also a lot to do with what I wish I was told at his age.
Thanks Christa. My daughter is only six but I'll make sure she hears your message as she grows up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Christa,
ReplyDeleteI am that Year 7's Mum and I can't thank you enough for your words. My boy was very touched and grateful for your letter. You clearly explain what the struggles are like . Every day is difficult and I am there with him trying to encourage and help him. I do wonder if he will make it, so you have given us hope. I hope one day that I can meet you and I can thank you in person. Best wishes always and I can't wait to hear what happens after Year 12.
It is great to hear from you and know that this letter helped your son. I will pass your comment onto Christa.
